Must-See Tourist Places in Rajasthan Tour

Aptly known as the Land of Kings, Rajasthan is indeed a wonderful kingdom of prolific palaces and majestic fortresses made by the maharajas. Rajasthan tour has been added to the wish lists of several travelers thanks to the former splendor and evocative ruins. Being the land of jungle and deserts, tigers, trains and camel, vibrant artisans and culture, Rajasthan has something more to explore in adventure tours in India. Have a look on some of the must-see tourist attractions in this spectacular state.

Jaipur
The pink city or the City of Victory, Jaipur is a home of historic and well preserved hilltop forts, bargain-filled, humming markets, and glorious palaces and plethora of dining and accommodation spots. From the traditional bazaars and their old-world charm to towering chrome and glass decorated malls, you can find a wide range of textiles, Rajasthani handicrafts, artisans and gems.

Pushkar Camel Fair
This is famous fest of Rajasthan held at the outskirts of Pushkar to behold the time and eponymous camels when cameleers visit the town. This fair is famous for shopping camel in which more than 50000 camels are painted and decorated. Here, horses and cattle are also sold for trading purposes.

Sariska Tiger Reserve
Whether you get the sight of tiger or not, this sanctuary is still worth a while. Spread in over 800 sq. km, Sariska Tiger Reserve houses sambar, nilgai, spotted deer (chital), wild boars and several bird species. It also includes the amazing Kankwari Fort on the hilltop which is located around 22 km away from Forest office and some spectacular views of Bhangarh which is well conserved, deserted city formed on 17th century.

Ranthambore National Park
In the itinerary of your holiday tour packages to India, make sure to include Ranthambore National Park because it is spread around 1334 sq. km of wild landscape. Ranthambore Fort, built on 10th century, is a major center of attraction. It is scattered by the centuries-old mosques and temples, cenotaphs and lakes filled with crocodiles. Till 1970, this national park was the hunting place for the maharajas. Here you can spot tigers if you are lucky enough.

Jodhpur
This city is famous for the mighty muscular fort Mehrangarh towering across the blue sky. The formidable walls organically grown from the rocks are great architectural masterpiece here. The fort is really the buzz of this blue old city and is full of life to capture the attentions of tourists.

Udaipur
This is tagged as most romantic city of Rajasthan, probably India. This ancient city is framed by the spectacular Aravalli Hills and is well dominated by City Palace. The balconies of this palace are gazing along the Lake Pichola. Udaipur is also a home of a fairy tale confection, the Lake Palace.

Jaisalmer Fort
The Jaisalmer Fort is really very breathtaking. Here, sandy plains are growing a huge sandcastle. Within the fort, there are some swaddled shops in vivid embroideries and several businesses and a royal palace. Despite some sort of commercialization, this tourist spot is wonderfully carved with some beautiful attractions like honey-like golden sandstone, giving it the title of ‘Golden City’.

Sam Sand Dunes
In the Thar Desert, the great Desert National Park is located about 42 kms from Jaisalmer. These sand dunes are the most alluring and most sought-after excursions on the edge of national park. This is Sahara Desert of Jaisalmer which features silky, giant and undulating coverings of sand.
